Big weddings are not for everyone.
Maybe it’s out of your budget. Maybe you don’t really want to spend the day with aunties, uncles and cousins you haven’t seen since you were 12. Or maybe you’re just not that in to making a big fuss and would rather keep things simple.
I totally get it. Sometimes all you need is a handful of close family and friends around you.
But just because you’re not inviting scores of guests, it doesn’t make your day any less special. You’re still making memories to last a lifetime and you shouldn’t have to compromise on capturing those.
I love photographing smaller weddings and offer no-fuss packages to cater for those who don’t need me there for the entire day.

You can book me for a minimum of two hours and I’ll be there at the venue to take pictures during the ceremony and get relaxed, natural-looking portraits of you and your family and friends afterwards.
If you’d like the more formal group shots I can do this but I ask you to fill out a form beforehand with exactly what you need, so that we’re able to make the most of every minute. Some couples prefer to just use my time to capture the action shots as people mingle and chat to one another.
If you’d like some pictures at your venue too I will happily accompany you there, giving you a wider variety of images.
MICRO WEDDING VENUES NEAR ME…
Most of the smaller weddings I photograph tend to take place at West Bridgford Registry Office, Arnold Registry Office, The Embankment Pub near Trent Bridge, or Nottingham Council House but I will travel across the East Midlands.
Popular reception venues include the Canal House and World Service, and I just love the intimacy and the relaxed feeling you get when a wedding isn’t held in a more traditional, formal venue. I get much more chance to say hi and chat to everyone, and the result is really gorgeous, natural-looking pictures that sum up your big day in the best way possible.
